We are committed to creating and maintaining a community in which
students, faculty and staff can work and study together in an atmosphere
free from all forms of discrimination, and discriminatory harassment.
YOU ARE PROTECTED
Federal and State law, as well as University of California policy
prohibits sexual harassment in an employment setting and in an educational
setting. Retaliation by those accused of harassing behavior is prohibited.
Sexual harassment can occur between various constituencies present
on campus. For example, harassment can take place between professors
and students; between supervisors and their supervisees; or between
peers. It can happen in classrooms, in your residence hall, and in
your workplace.
The UCD campus has numerous resources to help you, both confidential
and formal. These pages are a portal for you to explore your options.
