Center Past Projects Barbies We'd like to see... Winter Quarter of 1997, the Women's Center sponsored a contest and exhibition called "Barbies We Would Like To See." The contest was an invitation to the campus community to "remodel" the Barbie doll and in the process, look at the discrepancies between the images of women that Barbie portrays vs. the actual lives and appearances of real women.
