Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance (FMLA) at UC Davis

Our organization provides feminist, pro-choice students with the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge feminist issues, to develop their leadership and organizing skills, and to be connected with the larger pro-choice and feminist movements, in the United States and internationally.

The LGBT Resource Center provides an open, safe, inclusive space and community that is committed to challenging homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and heterosexism. The LGBTRC promotes education about all genders and sexualities, as well as space for self-exploration of these identities.

Medical Students for Choice

MS4C strives to reform medical school training to include abortion and reproductive health as a standard part of medical education.

They educate students, the public, and policymakers in medicine and government about the vital need for abortion providers, and they build a network for the students who are working to become abortion providers.

Beatrice Bain Research Group on Women and Gender

Established in 1986 to support and coordinate feminist scholarship across disciplines, the BBRG fosters research on gender and women, and is particularly interested in enabling research on gender in its intersections with sexuality, race, class, nation, religion, postcoloniality and transnational feminisms.

Lavender Library Archives and Cultural Exchange

The Lavender Library loans books, periodicals, videos and tapes of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender interest to members, collect items that preserve the LGBT experience in the Sacramento area and sponsor lectures, exhibits and cultural events for the community.
