Graduate Student Outreach Coordinator
I work as the Graduate Student Outreach Coordinator at the WRRC. My passion for community outreach stems from my experiences as a labor organizer with the UC Student-Workers Union and as a Ph.D. candidate in the Sociology department. Focusing on reproductive justice, my dissertation investigates how people make choices and manage risks when using reproductive technologies to preserve their fertility. I love the WRRC because it works to empower all members of our campus community as whole people with families, hobbies, and diverse community commitments, in addition to our academic goals. When I'm not on campus I can be found around Davis walking my dog, watching movies with friends, and writing in coffee shops downtown.
