The WRRC Presents: The Davis Feminist Film Festival
Please join us Saturday May 9th for our annual Davis Feminist Film Festival. We are delighted to share our theme this year is Fruitful: Cultivating Community as Resistance. We received over 1,200 films from all over the world and selected 21 films to screen at the event.
As we grapple with the atrocities across the world and daily reminders of rapid climate disasters we are reminded of how important community building is. By leaning on and cultivating community we hope to resist, find joy, grieve and learn together. This year’s films utilize an intersectional feminist lens and invites us to come together and dream of a liberated future.
Please reserve free tickets on Eventbrite, which include snacks and refreshments. We have a matinee showing from 11-2pm and an evening showing from 5-7pm. Each showing has a different selection of films, so we encourage you to join us for both.
