About
Historically, the Women's Resources and Research Center has celebrated Gender Equity Awareness Month in March. In 2026, during strategic planning efforts, the WRRC has moved to honoring Women's History Month campus-wide at UC Davis. While this month celebrates the unique contributions of women, we recognize the need for gender equity across all gender identities and to uplift all who have contributed to making the world more equitable. All are encouraged to join us for this week's programming. Women's History Month became federally recognized in 1987. To learn more about the origins of Women's History Month, you can visit the National Women's History Alliance.
