Aaron is a PhD candidate in cultural studies with an emphasis in feminist theory and research.  He's a first-gen student from Nevada who is committed to accessible education, organized labor, and social and economic justice.  His educational background is in literature and queer studies, and his doctoral research is related to queer/trans politics and community archives.  At UC Davis, Aaron has worked as an instructor and teaching assistant for a number of courses in the Departments of English, American Studies, and GSWS.  Outside the university he volunteers his labor at the Lavender Library, Archives, and Cultural Exchange (LLACE) in Sacramento.  Aaron enjoys reading and writing poetry, running, watching terrible reality TV, and lovingly annoying his and his partner's cat, Perkins.
